Samsung Series 5 Chromebook

Google has just officaly ammounced the first Google Chrome netbook, also know as the ChromeBook.
The Samsung Series 5 Chromebook is a 12.1-inch ultra slim netbook which measures just 0.79-inches in thickness, and of course runs Google Chrome OS (Opperating System).
           The newly announced Samsung Series 5 ChromeBook is the very first Google netbook to be announced. The Series 5 netbook meets Google’s “Chromebook” specifcations and standards. It has a 12.1-inch 1280 x 800 pixel LCD with a 300 nit brightness, is powered by the dual core Intel Atom N570 CPU (1.66GHz), a mSATA 16GB solid state drive, and features an “All-day” battery, which should provide 8.5 hours of continuous usage.
It also feautures dual band 802.11 WiFi, optional 3G, 2x USB 2.0, a webcam, a revampped clickable trackpad. It weighs just 3.26 pounds.
         Chrome OS boasts a 10 second boot time (45 seconds average for Windows) and an instant resume. There is also an SDXC cardreader on the Series 5, along with an optional VGA dongle.SDXC card reader, and VGA-out via an “optional” dongle.
